About the President’s Associates

Every college and university numbers among its constituents a unique group of alumni and friends whose interest in the institution is extraordinary and whose generosity is remarkable. To formally recognize some of our most generous alumni and friends, the NAU Foundation established the President's Associates, and it has become the flagship of the NAU Fund program.

The President's Associates is organized with the underlying conviction that the ability of Northern Arizona University to fulfill its mission of teaching, innovative research, and service is greatly enhanced by the philanthropic participation of alumni and friends. The objectives of the President's Associates are:

• To establish a group of individuals whose assistance and counsel can be readily sought by the president, deans, and other NAU administrators.
• To stimulate the active participation of alumni and friends in serving the institution through close association with NAU's governing bodies and administrators.
• To provide an exemplary pattern of generous annual giving to carry forward new ideas and future programs at NAU.

Through their giving, President’s Associates members help NAU attract other investments, enhance NAU’s visibility, and, ultimately, increase the value of an NAU degree.
